End to end workflow to help make digital color a reality
A key component supporting the InfoPrint® Solutions Company’s end to end color solution, the AFP Resource Installer manages the files required for advanced color and monochrome output to help make high-speed color communications a reality.
The AFP Resource Installer can install and manage color resources that control color rendition central to producing color applications. This control is accomplished via Color Management Resources (CMRs). CMRs are industry-standard color management objects that have been integrated into the open industry-standard AFP architecture.
The AFP Resource Installer is comprised of three consolidated interfaces—for the installation and management of AFP color management, font and image object resources.
The CMR installer manages files that include the color management information required to render printed output with color fidelity.
The font installer manages WorldType Fonts for AFP Print Servers, WorldType Fonts for AFP Clients, and other OpenType and TrueType fonts in Microsoft® Unicode format.
The data object installer manages files that contain image object data such as JPEG and TIFF files. |
