A widely used z/OS®-based software offering for driving Advanced Function Presentation™ (AFP™) page printers, Print Services Facility for i5/OS™ (PSF) offers exceptional versatility to help you manage your production printing environment.
PSF Version 4 introduces AFP Download Plus, a new method to automate the process of preparing print files for delivery to an outsourcer or other remote location for production. AFP Download Plus is designed to gather job attributes and print resources, process PSF exits, convert line data into the AFP data stream, package the job and secure it before transmitting it to the remote location for printing. With AFP Download Plus, you can increase your flexibility to move print jobs, help reduce the risk of errors and boost business recovery preparedness.
PSF Version 4 runs on z/OS V1R4 or later, and z/OS.e V1R4 or later releases. |
